THE WORLD'S FASTEST CAR! Yup you read that right! introducing Hennesey Venom GT 2014's recently world's fastest car has astonished car enthusiasts and drove pass the infamous Bugatti Veyron and the other ever famous Koenigsegg Agera R ( to be honest, I don't even know how to pronounce its brand is it co-we-nig-seg? or koy-nig-seg? comment below to let me know how it's pronounced!)
Anyways!back to the Hennesey Venom GT
Guinness Book of Records recently declared this car as the world's fastest car ( atleast for now!), so how much power does this car have? Oh nothing really just a Twin turbo charged 7.0 V8 engine! To explain this to non car fanatics or people who are not so specific with the details, it only has a mid engine V8 which can rev up to 7,200rpm! And that's alot! it has a 6 speed manual transmission and also Hennesey claims that this car can reach 278mph( Although it is said that it wasn't tested)
It's chassis is actually a highly modified Lotus Exige chassis, even though it has the name of "Hennesey Venom GT" it is actually registered as a modified Lotus Exige and as for the sales Hennesey only build 10 of these car per year!which includes:
- 750 hp for $600,000
- 1200 hp for $1,000,000
But recently price has just inflated by under $25,000
Its "World's Fastest Edition" Venom Gt has produced only three units!which goes from 0-300 km/h which holds the title record!
SO!HOW FAST IS IT??? It is said that it runs from 0-300 km/h at an average accelaration of 13.63 seconds and 0-322 km/h acceleration at 14.51 seconds which zips through the recently title holder the Koenigsegg Agera R at 17.68 seconds and ran 427.6 km/h over the course of 2miles!
